This is a special session for our new voters! This important roundtable will be facilitated by Mae Gates. Mae has a passion to share and make the issues more digestible for youth and less informed voters. She also believes in listening and providing safe spaces for our community to be heard.

Mae Gates, is a consultant, and she was the youngest Chief of Staff in the California state legislature and one of only two Black female Chiefs of Staff in the California State Senate. She currently is a Principal at MGA consulting. She was the president of the Black Women’s Democratic Club and has worked as a campaign organizer and Government Relations Manager.
